Will compression reduce quality?
Compression re-encodes JPG and WebP at the quality you choose, so some loss is expected below 100%; PNG stays lossless. Merged, split and page-deleted PDFs keep their original content, and PDF tools that render or re-encode images say so in the result panel.
Which photos can reach 50KB?
Most 1-5MP photos reach 50KB at 40-70% quality. Very detailed images may need smaller dimensions; the tool shows the floor before you convert.
